Hi all from Camp Chenaniah! We had some internet issues preventing updates but those are fixed now; updates will be done daily.
Today began our first official day of camp! Our first morning chapel began this morning at 9 a.m. with 4 worship songs and the motivating song “Get Down” by Audio Adrenaline. The kids then began their daily activites of swimming, lessons, sports and lunch. Those were followed by swimming at a nearby lakeside camp. Evening chapel finished the evening with high energy worship, drama by our students and teaching the campers of God’s love for them. Day two promises even more exciting worship and activities…stay tuned! Stay tuned to the LIVE webcam feed tomorrow evening @ 7 p.m. we will be broadcasting the evenings chapel services. I know how proud I am of you! I’ve been telling anyone and everyone what an awsome service you are providing. I pray for God to give you all strenght to deal with the emotional toll, wisdom to say the right things and compassion to continue when you feel spent. God will lift you up on wings like eagles and will help you to do his work. I am humbled by you all.
